What a CoA typically contains

A Certificate of Analysis is documentation issued for a specific production or packaging lot. Content varies by testing laboratory and product, but researchers commonly look for the following fields. This list is educational—not a guarantee of what every document will include.

• Lot / batch identifier — matches the lot printed on the vial or packaging.
• Identity methods — techniques used to support compound identity (for example HPLC, MS, or other methods stated on the report).
• Purity or related results (if tested) — only when the testing lab reports them for that lot; we do not invent or display site-wide purity percentages.
• Date of analysis or report — when the testing or documentation was issued.
• Lab notes or limitations — conditions, methods, and caveats stated by the testing laboratory.

How we handle batch documentation

VialVibes (operated by APEX Research, LLC) provides lot-level documentation on request when available for the materials we supply. Availability, format, and the specific tests reported can differ by product and lot.

For fastest service, include lot number, product name, and order reference if you have one. Review any CoA you receive for lot match, methods, dates, and limitations before relying on it for protocol decisions.
